About the Course
In this fully practical course you will learn everything you know to build your career as a professional hairstylist or add this skills to the services you offer to your clients. You can join this class even if you do not know anything or even if you have acquired some skills in the past. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
This course is great for beginners wanting to start from zero or professionals wishing to upgrade and update their skills.
Our Hairstyling Professional Program will prepare you in 14 lessons for the labour market and also you can extend your training and develop more skills with our advanced modules and/or our Makeup Artistry Program.
Classes are small groups (max. 6 people) so we guarantee you personalized and focused attention from the teacher that you won’t receive in big group classes in other schools.
Because of the amount of international students our classes are in English.

1 extra lesson focused on working in the Beauty Industry and how to get a job.
Practices at the school (20 to 25 hours).
Professional photos after each lesson.
Practice heads to use during the classes (if you are bringing your own materials you must bring a practice head).
In total you will need to bring 3 models for the whole course, but no worries, we will help you find them if you need help. We also have a data base of volunteer models, ask us for it.

Properly setup a professional and sanitary workspace and station.
Identify bone structure, hair condition, coloration, and the positive and the negative aspects of your client's hair.
Understanding different hair porosity.
Suitable hairstyles according to the occasion and your client's features.
Understanding different haircuts that your client might have.
How to maximise and enhance features.
Preparation of the hair.
Mastering brush control.
How to blow-dry hair.
How to use curlers and crimpers.
Application of hair extensions.
Working in short, medium and long haircuts.
Braiding the hair (over 20 different types of braid techniques).
Bridal hairstyles according to the occasion and length of the hair.
Vintage hairstyling (the 20's, 40's, 50's... up to the 2000's).
Editorial and commercial hairstyling.
Working with waves & curly hair ( up to kinky hair).
To keep in mind: this is a Hairstyling Course, not a Hairdresser course, what means that this course covers everything related to the styling skills, not to cutting or colouring.

PRICES
HAIRSTYLING PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM:

You can also pay in terms.
If you are a resident of The Netherlands, we offer you the possibility of split the payment in 6 to 12 monthly installments which will be debited automatically from your account (automatisch incasso). When you choose to pay in terms, a 5% to 10% additional fee is added to the total amount of the course, depending on the amount of terms you choose. The payments will be as follow:
- If you are a resident of The Netherlands:
6 monthly payments of €267 (5% extra fee for a total cost of €1.602).
12 monthly payments of €140 (10% extra fee for a total cost of €1.680).
You save your place with the payment of the first instalment on our website and we will automatically debit the rest every month.
- Personalized Accelerated program and/or International Students:
You save your place with a first payment of 50% of the course and then you pay the rest of the amount on the first day of class. When you choose payments in terms, an additional fee of 5% will be added.
WORK KITS
Due to agreements we have with prestigious brands, you can get extraordinary starter kits for a great price, including everything you need for the whole course without having extra unexpected expenses. All the kits are carefully selected for you to have the best tools to start your career. We also have several options for brushes and trolleys so you can personalize your kit as much as you want. Buying the kit from us is optional, If you prefer to bring the materials by yourself we can provide you with the list of what you need to bring. We don't guarantee you good results if the quality of your cosmetics is not good enough.
If you can't afford to buy the materials yet, you can rent materials from us to use during the classes for only €150 for the whole training.
The kits cannot be paid in terms but you do not have to buy them at the moment you book the course, you can buy it later on in course.

CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate as a Professional Hairstylist.
OUR SCHOOL
We are an approved member of the International Union for Makeup and Hairstylist Education.
We can prepare you for the exam at the Kwaliteitscentrum Uiterlijke Verzorging Branche Diploma Visagie if you wish to take that test.
We are also registered at the Dutch CRKBO which means that our courses are VAT-free, because of this, you do not pay any taxes over the course's price and also, the course can be included for deductions in the yearly tax declaration as education expenses (including what you spend in materials and related expenses). The courses are held at the following location:
Koninginnegracht 101, 2514 AL, Den Haag.
Public transportation: you can come by tram 9 and get off at the stop Riouwstraat. If you are coming from other cities, you can take tram 9 either from the Den Haag Central Station or from Den Haag Hollands Spoor.
If you are coming by car: the location is near the Centrumring providing a direct connection to the national highway network (A4 The Hague - Amsterdam, A12 The Hague - Utrecht, A13 The Hague - Rotterdam) via Koningskade and Zuid-Hollandlaan.
Parking: there are parking places on the streets surrounding the location. The cost is €2,60 per hour Monday to Friday from 9:00 until 17:00, evenings and weekends are free.
