About the Course
If you'd love to be behind the scenes in photoshoots, work for television and/or be part of fashion shows, this program will prepare you for the fashion and commercial part of the makeup art.
The course is suitable for anyone wanting to learn or improve everything about editorial makeup, wether you have experience or not. In this course we want our students to build and master all of the techniques from the very beginning; but if you also have some experience, this course will help you improve your skills and update yourself as a media makeup specialist.
Our Editorial and Commercial Makeup Program will prepare you in 21 lessons for the labour market and start living your dream job. After the completion of the course, you will receive your certificate as a Makeup Artist which is valid in The Netherlands and abroad as well.
Classes are small groups (max. 6 people) so we guarantee you personalized and focused attention from the teacher that you won’t receive in big group classes in other schools.
The course will be offered in 3 different ways so you can choose the one that suits you best:
Regular Program: 1 class per week.
Express Program: 2 classes per week.
Personalized Super Accelerated: We will adjust the classes for you to finish as fast as possible (subject to availability, just ask!).

EDITORIAL & COMMERCIAL MAKEUP PROGRAM:

Our courses are tax free, meaning that you do not pay any taxes over the amount and also, the course can be included for deductions in the yearly tax declaration as education expenses (including what you spend in materials and related expenses).

If you are a resident of The Netherlands, we offer you the possibility of split the payment in 6 to 12 monthly installments which will be debited automatically from your account (automatisch incasso). When you choose to pay in terms, a 5% to 10% additional fee is added to the total amount of the course, depending on the amount of terms you choose. The payments will be as follow:
- If you are a resident of The Netherlands:
6 monthly payments of €353,5 (5% extra fee for a total cost of €2.121).
12 monthly payments of €185,5 (10% extra fee for a total cost of €2.222).
You save your place with the payment of the first instalment on our website and we will automatically debit the rest every month.
- Personalized Accelerated program and/or International Students:
You save your place with a first payment of 50% of the course and then you pay the rest of the amount on the first day of class. When you choose payments in terms, an additional fee of 5% will be added.
WORK KITS
Due to agreements we have with prestigious brands, you can get extraordinary starter kits for a great price, including everything you need for the whole course without having extra unexpected expenses. All the kits are carefully selected for you to have the best tools to start your career. We also have several options for brushes and trolleys so you can personalize your kit as much as you want. Buying the kit from us is optional, If you prefer to bring the materials by yourself we can provide you with the list of what you need to bring. We don't guarantee you good results if the quality of your cosmetics is not good enough.
If you can't afford to buy the materials yet, you can use the materials from the school to practice in class.
The kits cannot be paid in terms but you do not have to buy them at the moment you book the course, you can buy it later in the course.

All the kits have all the makeup you need for your professional training and to work with your clients after you finish. CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate as an Editorial and Commercial Makeup Artist.
OUR SCHOOL
We are an approved member of the International Union for Makeup and Hairstylist Education.
We can prepare you for the exam at the Kwaliteitscentrum Uiterlijke Verzorging Branche Diploma Visagie if you wish to take that test.
We are also registered at the Dutch CRKBO which means that our courses are VAT-free, because of this, you do not pay any taxes over the course's price and also, the course can be included for deductions in the yearly tax declaration as education expenses (including what you spend in materials and related expenses). ADDRESS
The courses are held at the following location:

Public transportation: you can come by tram 9 and get off at the stop Riouwstraat. If you are coming from other cities, you can take tram 9 either from the Den Haag Central Station or from Den Haag Hollands Spoor.
If you are coming by car: the location is near the Centrumring providing a direct connection to the national highway network (A4 The Hague - Amsterdam, A12 The Hague - Utrecht, A13 The Hague - Rotterdam) via Koningskade and Zuid-Hollandlaan.
Parking: there are parking places on the streets surrounding the location. The cost is €2,60 per hour Monday to Friday from 9:00 until 17:00, evenings and weekends are free.
