If you would like to begin in the beautiful world of makeup and you want to start only with the basics, get a taste of this wonderful career or simply add makeup skills to your professional portfolio, this course is perfect for you. This program is suitable for total beginners or professionals from related professions like hairstylists, photographers or any other who could profit from offering this service to their clients.

 

We offer a variety of programs suitable for every learning type and level. Our classes are designed to give you the skills and the knowledge you need to thrive in your career. This course is suitable for those who want to learn to do makeup on others and not suitable as a personal makeup course.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.

Classes are small groups (max. 6 people) so we guarantee you personalized and focused attention from the teacher that you won’t receive in big group classes in other schools.

This course is offered in English and/or Dutch.

CONTENT OF THE PROGRAM

This course is divided in 4 theory lessons (online) and 7 practical lessons at the school. 

  • The art of Makeup. What is this wonderful world and its history.

  • Materials and brushes that the makeup artist uses.

  • Properly setup a professional and sanitary workspace and make-up station.

  • Color Theory. Chiaroscuro technique. The Art of Mixology.

  • Identify bone structure, skin tone, skin condition, coloration, imperfections, and the positive and the negative aspects of the face Identify skin undertones and shades.

  • Understanding different eye shapes.

  • How to maximise and dramatise features.

  • Mastering brush control and flawless blending.

  • Theory of Colour applied to eye makeup. How to choose the most flattering colors for your clients.

  • Preparation of the face. Prime and moisturize.

  • Practical application of Corrective Makeup according to every type of face.

  • Eyebrow shaping.

  • How to contour and highlight.

  • Dewy skin.

  • No-makeup look.

  • Halo Eyes.

  • Bronzy day makeup.

  • The art of the smokey eyes.

  • Eyeliner and Mascara application.

  • Application of false eyelashes.

  • Lipstick application.

  • General beauty tips and advice.

  • Advice on how to start your career as makeup artist and promote yourself whether if you want to work as a freelancer or find employment.

BASIC MAKEUP PROGRAM:

  • €1.350 (11 lessons). Inc. IVA, Exc. materials.

Our courses are tax free, meaning that you do not pay any taxes over the amount and also, the course can be included for deductions in the yearly tax declaration as education expenses (including what you spend in materials and related expenses).

You can also pay in terms. 

If you are a resident of The Netherlands, we offer you the possibility of split the payment in 6 to 12 monthly installments which will be debited automatically from your account (automatisch incasso). When you choose to pay in terms, a 5% to 10% additional fee is added to the total amount of the course, depending on the amount of terms you choose. The payments will be as follow:

- If you are a resident of The Netherlands:

  • 3 monthly payments of €472,5 (5% extra fee for a total cost of €1.417,5).

  • 6 monthly payments of €247,5 (10% extra fee for a total cost of €1.485).

  • 9 monthly payments of €165 (10% extra fee for a total cost of €1.485).

You save your place with the payment of the first instalment on our website and we will automatically debit the rest every month. ​

- Personalized Accelerated program and/or International Students:

You save your place with a first payment of 50% of the course and then you pay the rest of the amount on the first day of class. When you choose payments in terms, an additional fee of 5% will be added.

DIPLOMA

At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate that indicates the you completed the Basic Makeup Artist Course.
